Problems compounded on problems.

Bailed before I got pounded by them.

Sometimes the wisest tactic is to retreat and regroup.

The course was good--wish I could've experienced the whole thing.

Instead became drunken awards ceremony jackass...second time this season.

Build and Shakedown

Put together the Lenz Leviathan on Saturday, had a rain-aborted ride attempt that evening, followed by 35 miles of fun on Sunday. I think she likes it....

First up is the Cyclesports Fast Forward Devo crew that are out there for Mtn Bike Nationals. Looks like they're having a good time and a good road trip. Has to be an awesome experience for a bunch of teenagers to have this opportunity. Mad props to Zach for making this happen. Young guy with big ideas and the cojones to pull them off.

Second is the Breck Epic.

Locals Tomi McMillar and Mike Kuhn are out there doing what they can at altitude.
Tomi is, of course, fixed, while Kuhndog is running a 2x9 setup.
Rich Dillen (Team Dicky) is another good read.Jeremiah Bishop and Travis Brown are duking it out in the lead for the whole enchilada.
And, Harlan Price is sitting 8th in the Solo Male category. Not bad for a bunch of lowlanders.
