R/NR? Part II--Stone is Forever

Check that map.

Hey, we have a Not Rideable, at least currently, courtesy of Camps.

We upped the ante yesterday on a ride, found a big rock to play on.

Is it rideable?

Not sure.

No one had the cojones to pull off the wheelie drop exit. Big move, high price for failure.

We didn't bother to measure as I think the scale is apparent enough in the pics.

But, since stone is forever, we'll be back to give it a whirl sometime.
However, my geologist-in-training riding bud would probably argue that point.

"stone" as you call it, is effectively forever as far as our limited human perspective of time is concerned. In your lifetime that boulder will not decrease noticeably in size. Do you feel small yet? Geologic time is soooooo immense....

but forever is bigger than geologic time.

Brett, does this mean that we should remove this obstacle from the trail?

Absolutely. Have at it! I'll come along to watch.

Actually the jury is still out. Maybe wait to schedule your excavation crew after the next attempt or two.

someone will eventually get it...I say leave it there...either way it will cause some entertainment.
