The replacement for the Inbred arrived today at my office. Designed by Mark Slate of WTB fame, it's an Of Spirit Blackbuck. They make but one size, and it looked like it would fit me. So I took the chance.
Some neat design elements on this, like the curved seat stays and the disk brake tab inside the rear triangle. Tensioning is via an EBB with a split shell set up.
One thing I'm not sure about is the rear brake hose routing underneath the BB and chainstay. I fear a severed hydro line when caught between a rock and a hard place. I'll consider it further during the build.

Looks SWEET! Under side cable routing is a good thing, as it keeps the dents away! If your worried about a severed hydro, there ain't nothing wrong with BB7's. You can't go fast enough on a hard tail to warrant hydros anyway...well I can't....maybe you can! One thing I'm confused about, though...Is Black the new White? Just when I got a white bike on order, the game has changed.
I am uber jealous. That is one hot looking frame. I've never seen one in person. Can't wait to see it built up on the trail.
Sexy. Wait 'til trainwreck sees it.
Hahah. I ordered one of those and it arrived damaged - the headtube was bent. Sent is back for a refund and didn't bother getting another. Salsa warrantied my El Maracchi with a Selma - so I didn't need it anymore.
Looked like it was ok. Same quality as an on-one or a q-ball - which means it will break.
Run it with a suspension fork for prolonged life.
