Booker T's new one w/ Drive-by Truckers and Neil Young
Patterson Hood
Mark Olson and Gary Louris
Dwight Yoakum (can't get enough for some reason)
Rosanne Cash - The List
Lucinda
and anything Son Volt/Jay Farrar
many more I obviously can't think of
Since I can't get XPN here, most of my new comes from Sirius now
Speaking of Jay Farrar, I want to hear more from the soundtrack to "One Fast Move or I'm Gone", the new Kerouac dealio. There is a good song from that with Farrar and the lead singer from Death Cab for Cutie--"These Roads Don't Move".
Try listening to Global Cafe from Shippensburg--I've found that to be pretty interesting at times.
This is probably going off the deep end a bit,...been tryin' to get a chance to respond,.....but Street Sweeper Social Club and One Day as a Lion is a nice transgression if you have had a little Rage in your past.
Street Sweeper as in the banned automatic shotgun? If so, then nice reference. Yes, I liked old, old Rage. I'll have to look them up!
